One of the most important and least costly things you can do to get your home sold is to declutter your home.

And declutter doesn't just mean to take down grandma's odd owl collection or take your family photos from your last vacation off of the refrigerator.  Declutter means to take everything out of your house that does not contribute in a positive way to selling your home.

Think extensive here. Take family portraits off of the walls.  Remove plants that no longer look alive. Give away your paperback book collection that you will never read again.  Take the loaves of bread and potato chip bags off of the kitchen counter.  Take clothing that no longer fits or is out of style out of your closet and give to a worthy cause.
